Greetings from the JFK Rotary Club
We would first like to thank everyone for their participation and support of our 28th Annual JFK Rotary Club "5K Runway Run". The response has been tremendous, allowing us to exceed our 2010 goal of 1,000 participants.
Everyone in attendance will be part of a history making moment for running/walking in the largest race held at JFK Int’l airport.
Due to airport security the race course has been modified. You will receive further instructions and information at registration.
Runners and walkers of all skill levels!
- The Race is set for RAIN ro SHINE!!!
- Day of Race Registration Welcomed ($25 cash or check only)
- Race Day Check-in:
- 7:00am to 8:30am at Bldg. 14 - Port Authority Admin Building/Chef's Orchard Restaurant
- Special check-in line set-up for "groups". If you are a member of any groups listed below, please register on the special line set-up for groups: Capital One Bank; Team Costa; Morristown Municipal Airport; Traveler's Aid; JFK IAT; Travel Impressions; JTFES Army Run Team; Lufthansa; Syosset Interact; Aviation HS; MS 53Q; Royal Waste
- No registrations accepted or numbers issued after 8:30 a.m. on Race Day.
- Race starts at 9:00am SHARP!
- Complimentary Secure Bag Check will be provided.
- Plenty of Free Parking is available at Bldg. 14.
- Awards Ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the race at Bldg. 14, outside of Chef’s Orchid.
- Winners must be present to receive medals and a chance to win the special runner/walker raffle prize - RT Airline Tickets.
- Chip Timing provided by Tri and Du It Multisport
- Times will be posted at Bldg. 14 and a complete listing of all race finishers will be published on this website and at TriAndDuIt.com
Reminders/Info:
- Please bring a photo ID with you to the register and pick-up your bib and chip. Because we will be running/walking on airport grounds, everyone needs to be identified.
- Valid picture ID required for packet pick-up (18+)
- Valid Student ID required for special student rate.
- Children in Strollers welcomed . . . Free Entrance.

- Bring your camera, many great photo opportunities available.
- Goody Bag and T-shirt can be picked-up after the race.
- Official "5K Runway Run" T-shirts and Goody Bags will be guaranteed to anyone who has pre-registered.
- There will be a limited number of T-shirts and Goody Bags for day of race registrants (first come, first get basis).
